Tomteboda

Originally inaugurated in 1983 as the world’s most advanced postal facility, Tomteboda is a 100,000 sqm landmark building in Stockholm. After its long-term tenant vacated the premises, Obligo faced the challenge of repositioning this monumental structure for a new era - choosing transformation over demolition and redefining it as a flexible, future-proof destination for large-scale tenants.

What we delivered

a set of CGIs and animation

Walk the Room joined early in the reinvention process, collaborating with the client and architects to translate the renewed vision into a clear visual narrative. Through a series of CGIs and an animation, we highlighted the building’s scale, preserved industrial character and distinctive color identity, balancing heritage with contemporary functionality.

The visuals became a key communication tool in the leasing process, helping stakeholders and prospective tenants understand the building’s new potential - supporting its successful repositioning as a modern, energy-efficient reference project built to last.
